Some FAQs!

"Lifestyle" means telling YOUR story. Documenting the moment with you and your loved ones in an authentic way, with poses and prompts that bring out natural smiles and interactions. Will we get photos of 'everyone looking and smiling at the camera?' Of course! But the focus will be on showcasing your relationships and personalities with each other, and freezing this moment in time.

When you inquire about a session with me, you will get my Welcome Guide and Location Guide. After we pick a date, I will send you a client guide and contract via email that goes into the nitty gritty details of what our session will be like! I also give tips on picking your outfits, posing and what to do with your hands, and even give some tips for kids to help keep it fun!

Outdoor sessions last about one hour and begin one hour before sunset. Indoor newborn sessions typically last 1.5-2 hours. No time limit on military homecomings!

Yes! I have a constantly growing client closet with many styling items for you to wear for no additional cost during your session with me. Let me know what you are looking for, or if you just want to browse my selection!

Yes! I offer mini sessions only a couple of times per year, so keep a look out on my Facebook and Instagram pages for when these become available! Booked on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Yes! Dogs are absolutely part of our families! Please just let me know prior to our session if you plan to bring your pup. I will not be able to hold your dog’s leash at any point during the session. If you don’t want pup in all the photos, please plan accordingly to take back to your car (outdoor sessions).

Your session fee includes your immediate family. If you would like your parents, siblings with their families, etc. to join your session, there is an additional fee per family unit. Please communicate this desire to include them with me prior to your session so we can figure something out. Let's talk and come up with a plan!

The edits I make to each individual image are applied to the overall image. I will do spot edits such as highlighting faces, etc. at my discretion. Special request edits such as removing blemishes, smoothing skin, etc. can be done at an additional cost as they require more time. Let me know if you have any special requests and we can come up with a plan!

Each session will be decided on a case by case basis. Locations outside of 20 miles of Dexter, MI may incur travel fees.

I will send you a link to your full gallery online through Pixieset. You will get a unique download PIN to access and download your family's photos.

I do not give unedited or RAW images to anyone.

I do not have my own studio, however, I am a member of Studio Studio in Ann Arbor and am there often! It has gorgeous natural light streaming in, as well as a variety of props and looks available to use.
