Island Park | Ann Arbor

Explore the trails and varying beauty of the Arb! River access, open fields, and home to one of the largest peony gardens in the world! Peak bloom is typically late May-early June.

Home to a spacious greenhouse filled with unique and beautiful plants, as well as outdoor gardens and trails, there is so much to explore at Matthaei! This beautiful location can be enjoyed year-round.

The perfect location for Christmas tree farm photos! Open to photographers to have sessions year round, they also have beautiful wildflowers in the summer!
